Cuevello is built as a local Mac and iOS utility. This page explains what data is processed by the website, app, and support contact.

Cuevello app privacy

Cuevello does not operate a cloud account system for controlling your Mac. Pairing, menu control, workflows, and app commands are designed to work locally between your iOS device and your Mac.

Data stored locally

The app may store paired Mac profiles, workflow definitions, app settings, URLs that you add to workflows, and pairing information on your devices. This data is used to provide the app functionality and is not uploaded to a Cuevello server.

Permissions

Local Network: used to discover and connect to the Mac app on your network.
Camera: used when scanning a pairing QR code.
Accessibility on macOS: used by the Mac app to read and trigger menu items.

Apple services

If you install Cuevello through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may process account, purchase, analytics, and crash data according to Apple's privacy policies. Cuevello only receives information Apple makes available to developers, such as aggregated analytics or crash reports if you have enabled sharing.

Website privacy

Visiting this website generally does not require providing personal data. As with most websites, the hosting provider can process technical access data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, browser type, operating system, and referrer. This is necessary to deliver the website and to maintain security.

The website does not use analytics tracking. Language selection is based on the browser language and is not stored by Cuevello.

The website loads Bootstrap and Bootstrap Icons from jsDelivr CDN. When those files are requested, your browser connects to jsDelivr and transmits technical request data to that provider.

Contact and support

If you contact Cuevello by email, the data you send, such as name, email address, message content, device information, logs, or screenshots, is processed to answer your request, provide support, fix bugs, and improve the product. This data is not sold.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

Datenschutz in der Cuevello App

Cuevello ist als lokales Mac- und iOS-Werkzeug gebaut. Die Steuerung des Macs, Pairing, Workflows und App-Befehle laufen lokal zwischen iOS-Gerät und Mac. Cuevello betreibt dafür kein Cloud-Konto.

Lokal gespeicherte Daten

Die App kann gekoppelte Mac-Profile, Workflow-Definitionen, App-Einstellungen, URLs, die du Workflows hinzufügst, und Pairing-Informationen lokal auf deinen Geräten speichern. Diese Daten werden zur Bereitstellung der App-Funktionen genutzt und nicht auf einen Cuevello-Server hochgeladen.

Berechtigungen

Lokales Netzwerk: zur Suche und Verbindung mit der Mac-App im Netzwerk.
Kamera: zum Scannen eines Pairing-QR-Codes.
Bedienungshilfen auf macOS: damit die Mac-App Menüeinträge lesen und auslösen kann.

App Store und TestFlight

Wenn du Cuevello über den App Store oder TestFlight installierst, kann Apple Konto-, Kauf-, Analyse- und Absturzdaten nach den Apple-Datenschutzbestimmungen verarbeiten. Cuevello erhält nur Informationen, die Apple Entwicklern bereitstellt, etwa aggregierte Analysen oder Crash Reports, wenn du deren Teilen aktiviert hast.

Datenschutz auf der Website

Eine Nutzung der Website ist grundsätzlich ohne Angabe personenbezogener Daten möglich. Wie bei Websites üblich, kann der Hostinganbieter technische Zugriffsdaten verarbeiten, zum Beispiel IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit, aufgerufene Datei, Browsertyp, Betriebssystem und Referrer. Diese Verarbeitung ist notwendig, um die Website auszuliefern und die Sicherheit zu gewährleisten.

Die Website nutzt kein Analytics-Tracking. Die Sprache wird anhand der Browsersprache gewählt und von Cuevello nicht gespeichert.

Bootstrap und Bootstrap Icons werden über jsDelivr CDN geladen. Dabei baut der Browser eine Verbindung zu jsDelivr auf und übermittelt technische Request-Daten an diesen Anbieter.

Kontakt und Support

Wenn du Cuevello per E-Mail kontaktierst, werden die übermittelten Daten, zum Beispiel Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Nachricht, Geräteinformationen, Logs oder Screenshots, zur Beantwortung der Anfrage, für Support, Fehlerbehebung und Produktverbesserung verarbeitet. Diese Daten werden nicht verkauft.
